Instead of getting caught up in brand debates, let’s focus on what really makes a 9mm platform perform better at 100 yards. For those who have fine-tuned their setups for precision, which barrel specifications, trigger enhancements, and ammunition choices have yielded the best results? If you’ve been tracking your groupings before and after making changes, feel free to share them so we can compare actual outcomes.

Theres a pretty cool guy on here, @ckfarris who has/had a pretty smooth 9mm major 2011 that would easily print at 100 yards, up close it felt like cheating. It had a surprisingly light recoil spring due to the brake, the gun didnt move and the acorns/walnuts/leaves on top of the metal roof in the CCGC pistol ranges would fly off due to the report. And back when there was tar paper exposed under the tin, it took 2 shots to realize a full mag was going to blow all that apart. But, one of the smoothest and most repeatable pistols ive ever run, absolute laser beam.

My bare bones Dan Wesson PM9 will easily hit at 100. Fiber front, black rear factory sights and it will hit 10" steel 10/10. @jagdawg had a first shot hit at 100y last time i took it out. But thats all factory minus a replacement wolff recoil spring.
