Mossberg Model 25
There is very little info available on this model.
It is a single shot 22 made from 1935-1936.
Features include:
It was also missing the rear sight when I got it so I installed a Marbles Bullseye sight I had on hand.
For date ranges for most Mossberg models, check out this .pdf from the National Mossberg Collectors Association:

Sample
I also highly recommend the book "More Gun for the Money."
It's a 304 page history of Mossberg firearms with over 500 illustrations and photographs, published in 1995 in conjunction with OFM’s 75th anniversary.
This is currently the only book in print that deals exclusively with Mossberg.
You can order it directly from the authors for $34 w/shipping: https://www.mossbergcollectors.org/moregun.htm
They will even autograph it for you.
Now for the close ups...
