This is a thread to share your recently acquired blasters, boomsticks, and accessories.

Today I picked up a 1928 Remington model 12C and a Sears Ted Williams 4x scope.

The rifle runs flawlessly and the scope is crystal clear.

I went to Emporia and purchased a Braun tactical rail light that is supposed to be a clone of a TLR-1. I must say, it's pretty darn good but I haven't had it long enough to really test it. Others who have tested them on YouTube have a lot of good things to say about it.

I also ordered some Glock parts from Aim Surplus and from The Glockstore that should be here by Monday.

ETA: Heading to Wichita today to pick up an SCT17 frame from Bass Pro, and maybe a few other things!

Stopped in Scheels in Wichita yesterday to see if I could get into a gunfight in their parking lot. No joy.

Actually went in to grab a pistol grip for my new DD M4A1 and found they had Speer Gold Dot .223 62gr on sale for $25.99. That's only a bit more than SG ammo is asking, and that's without the shipping costs.

My "Danny Go Gun", as my daughter calls it, is almost done. Needs a weapon light and a lot of range time.

I got the date wrong. This rifle is actually from 1919 based on the SN. What I thought was a date code is not one.

Gold Dots are the only factory centerfire rifle ammo i will buy. The wound channels are always amazing, and ive never had one fail to open on target. They run around 3/8 MOA in my 308, which acutely satiates my needs for a critter gitter projectile.

Super neat guy on this forum threw a few boxes my way many years ago, and I'm super glad he did.

Picked up a few shottys.
These will be housewarming gifts as the kids leave home. Should they find the need to fix the bumps in the night.

I had one of those (very similar) in the 90s; the last shotgun I owned. I really liked it, but found I'm not really a shotgun guy. Plus, I already have enough different calibers to keep track of without adding 12ga to the mix...

@DMaddox76 How do you like the SCT17 frame? Did you mate it to a Glock slide and barrel or go with aftermarket?

I have 6 Glock clones now and 5 of them are SCT frames. The 6th is a P80 (it was an 80% lower) and almost all P80 parts except for the lower parts that are Rainier. None of them have Glock parts. They all function just like they should. I have 4 17 clones and 2 19 clones.

I have a wide variety of slides and barrels. Killer innovations, with agency arms barrel, P80 slide with P80 barrel, Swenson slide with Aim surplus barrel, 2 Palmetto State Armory complete uppers (those are the 19 clones), A Rock Slide and Cross barrel I got from AR15 Equipment Exchange.

ETA: LOL! I forgot to tell you if I like them or not! Yes, I do, but, I have not had the opportunity to try a Grit Grips frame yet. If I knew if anyone had a Grit Grips in stock (local) I would try one. I do like the SCT better than the P80.
