7.62x39 AR

Being somewhat of a fan of ARs and wanting something for whitetail hunting I assembled a 16” .300 BLK…. A little underwhelming… so I assembled a 7.62x39R. So far I’ve only shot at tree stumps but I think that It will be more than adequate for the task.

PSA complete upper, Aero Precision lower, Geissele Automatics LPK w/ G2S two stage trigger, Boyd’s laminated furniture, no name scope mount and a fire sale priced 30mm 2-6x illuminated Simmons scope and C-Products magazines.

I figured the scope would be a stand in until I found one an affordable one that I really wanted but…

Better glass.
This one is a 1-6x and illuminated. I rarely use more than 3 or 4x magnification where I hunt.

I am surprised at how bright this scope is. I am not in a hurry to change it.
