Binary Triggers Legal Or Nah?

I've been going back and forth on whether binary triggers are legal in Kansas. I just moved here a few months back, so I'm still getting my bearings with all the local laws. I think I remember reading something about them being allowed, but I wasn't entirely sure if that's the case. Is there anyone out there who's looked into this or has some experience with it? I don't want to accidentally get on the wrong side of the law while trying to enjoy some time at the range. Any insights would be super helpful! What's the general vibe on these things among fellow shooters?

I just checked on the Kansas Hometown section on AR15.com and in over 2 years of threads there were 0 questions about binary or forced reset triggers being legal in Kansas. I haven't heard anything. This is me talking, but I believe they are OK. Anyone else know?

Depends on where @Fizzik is coming from right? I think they are good to go.

Not an expert, not a lawyer...

This website claims they are legal in Kansas.

Also keep in mind that Kansas passed the Second Amendment Protection Act (aka suppressors made in Kansas and stay in Kansas don't require NFA hoop jumping). A couple of people tried it out and the Feds came in charged those guys with every gun law they could. Kansas gov just sat back and let the Feds jam those guys up and let them go to jail. Before banking on someone saying it is legal, might want to do your own research.

Binary is old tech. The forced reset trigger design is there its at now.

Two iterations are available.

The Rare Breed FRT, is only two position being either full-semi auto or safety.

The Deez Nutz Tactical Super Safety is a three position, FSA, semi, and safety.

If i were to have purchased a Super Safety, I'd say it was $109 and only takes 10-15 min to install. Or, if youve got a 3D printer, the files are out there for free.

The rules of our state and country are simple. If its in the rule book, its illegal. If its not in the rule book, its not illegal. Binary and frt style triggers are not expressly illegal by any definition of law. And our own Atty General, Kris Kobach filed against the ATFs over reach regarding these triggers.
