Mine was a 90s Chevy Silverado. Up to this day this car is still running with 326k miles on it. We call him Blue.

I took drivers Ed in high school. I graduated in 1976 so I took it in '72. If I remember right, it was a new

Chrysler Cordoba 2 door with "Fine Corinthian Leather"! It came from the Chrysler dealership down in

Council Grove. (I lived in White City, about 20 miles northwest) It was tan with a white vinyl Monte Carlo top.

Does it count if it wasn't a car. I learned on an old Farmall H tractor. I was young enough that I had to stand on the clutch with both feet just to be able to shift gears.

1934 Dodge that I bought at my grandma's brother's farm auction. I was 14.

Correction: I already knew how to drive when I bought that car for $50. I drove it home (carefully); it had no brakes.

Bought a Cushman motorscooter when I was 13 in Dodge City, first car learned to drive was Dad's work vehicle, 1957 Studebaker 3 on the tree.

The first motor vehicle I soloed on was a 1950 John Deere "AR" when I was about 11. The first road vehicle was a '48 Chevy pick-up, but I wasn't allowed to take it out of 1st gear. Our driver's-ed car was a brand new '64 Chevy Impala. Three speed on the column.
