Yes, I'm partial to S&W K frames.. L frames fit my hand also.

I grew up in the 1950s-70s in SW Kansas, flattest County in the State. Live in ICT now to be closer to daughters and grandkids.

I miss the old KSCCW, I wasn't much of a poster then, and don't expect I'll be one here either. But I visit almost daily, read almost everything, and learned alot.

Sounds like you've experienced quite a few changes over the years, both in Kansas and within the firearms community. Moving to Wichita to be closer to family is a great decision. And yes!!we miss the good old KSCCW days too. That community had so many wonderful people and meaningful discussions, and we’re really hoping to keep that same vibe going here.

I’d love to hear how your Thanksgiving went :)

We had a great Thanksgiving day. For me, the highlight of dinner was the sweet potato casserole, it had enough brown sugar, butter, and pecans to double as dessert. I'm not a turkey fan, and wife opt'd to cook a turkey breast in the slow cooker, I don't recommend...

Both daughters were here with their families, not a large crowd, 5 adults and 3 grandkids under age of 10. Fun was had by all.

Welcome to the forum!
The wife and I with our first child lived in Wichita at 823 Emerson. I worked for Cessna until they had a big layoff in 1980. We liked Wichita.
