Gun meetups?

Are there any gun-related meetups or events coming up in Kansas? Would love to connect with some people in person!

The site is fairly new but there are a bunch of the old KSCCW forum people on here who from time to time did do some get togethers. I would recommend keeping an eye on something like GunShowTrader.com for any upcoming gun shows in your area and maybe suggest local members meet there to get to know one another.

Also, there is joining the Kansas State Rifle Association and going to some of their events. I was a member a while back but worked to much to be able to go to any. Now that I am retired, I rejoined and plan on going to some.

Finding a local competition is a good way to meet like minded people and get some shooting in. I help run a range near Frankfort KS. The outdoor season is over and won’t start until March but I know they do pistol matches at Godfrey’s in Junction city twice a month.

Spread the word of this forum. The more members we get, the better the chances that a local meetup could be scheduled.
