I've been around guns for as long as I can remember. I picked up my first rifle when I was about 9, thanks to my unc, who took me out to his farm near Russell. Every season, we’d head out for pheasant and whitetail hunting, and those trips are some of my fondest memories. He passed away just this year and left me his collection, which has sparked a desire in me to dive deeper into the world of firearm. I’m excited to learn from yall and hopefully share some of my discoveries along the way!

Sorry for your loss. We are happy to have you here. Ask any questions you might have.

You may find some of your answers in my series of Gun of the day posts.

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for sharing your story with us. I’m really sorry to hear about your uncle. He sounds like he was an incredible person who passed down something truly special. Those memories of hunting pheasants and whitetails near Russell are the kind that last a lifetime, and it’s obvious he made a big difference in your life. I can’t wait to hear about your adventures and see you around the forum.

How did your Thanksgiving go?
