Handgun, what would it be?

For me, the answer is easy: my S&W Model 681. I'll go into the reasons when I do my review of that particular revolver in a bit.

Any other thoughts? What would your choice be?

My 1954 .45ACP Colt Commander

Light enough and compact enough to carry concealed if necessary and powerful enough to handle most unpleasantness.

It is also my birth year gun…

However, I can name several runner ups.

I'd probably have to go with my Ruger .357 I purchased in 1969, not long before I went into the Army. It is semi-retired now.

Im on the glock boat as well, but its gotta be a G20SF. Because 10mm is the best millimeter.

Gaston really left something on the table when they never bridged the 20, 29 gap. The world does need a g19 sized 10mm.
