What are you carrying right now?

What’s everyone carrying today? I’ve got my dad’s old SIG P220 with me. It always hits me right in the feels with nostalgia every time I take it out.

When concealed carry first started in Kansas, it was my H&KP2000.

Then it was my Glock 26.

For the last couple of months, my 43X Clone.

I should be getting my Glock Store M1X frame (formerly called the 26X)

hopefully tomorrow, and I am hoping that will be my new carry after testing and break in.

Looking forward to seeing it!

Finally got the "26X" frame from The Glock Store and picked it up last night from Walking Turtle Firearms

here in Marion. Haven't run any rounds through it yet. I sure like the way it feels. The 26 is a good gun but

I just had a hard time getting a good grip on it. This fits nicely in my hand and with a full mag it has a good

balance to it. Not barrel heavy and not grip heavy. The slide assembly is from Brownells and got it when I had

my Glock 26 gen4.

It sounds like you’ve put together a pretty awesome build. I’ve had my fair share of good luck with Brownells slides, and matching one with that longer grip seems like a fantastic idea. We can’t wait to hear how it performs at the range. I’m guessing it’ll be a lot more comfortable to shoot than the original 26, especially for those longer sessions.
