My first 1911 project, inspired by Walt Kuleck's 1911 Vol2 cover. Stripped Fusion frame, misc parts, Armscor slide, Colt barrel.
His name was Lucky. We had him for over 11 years. He crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this year.I like that dog. That is a nice dog.
Oh, the pistol is nice too.![]()
That was a dog with character written on his face. I would have loved to have met him.His name was Lucky. We had him for over 11 years. He crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this year.

Hard Not to like/Love! Carried one from 1963 USN and still do. And Only show, when one is Used! No One needs to know! Ever!how can anyone hate a back to back world war champion?
I love the DW 10mm's. I have a bunch of the early "1 of 150's" Razorback's myself. Those and the Springfield Omega Match are the most accurate 10mm's I've found and I've owned nearly all except those that have came out in the past couple of years.Ive owned so many of them, but it was a platform that I just didnt hold on to in the past. These two will never leave the stable. In 2016 I decided to join the geezer group in IDPA. Sold my G34 setup and grabbed this Dan Wesson PM9 on the cheap with the employee discount when I was at CZ-USA. Best $869 ive ever spent.
My second DW is the Razorback 10mikemike. Over a decade ago, I gave my brother some life advice and steered him to getting his degree in Electrical engineering. He ended up double major EE and math, with a minor in physics. When he graduated, i told him that if someone had given me advice like that, i would feel obligated to give them an appreciation gift. And his gift to me was that Dan Wesson 10mm.
Theyre beautiful, butter smooth, and super dee duper accurate.
