There's a gun show at the Agriculture building here in Topeka this weekend. I've never been. Are the shows around here any good or are they all assorted jerkies and Beanie Babies like so many other parts of the country? Just curious.

The last time I went to a gun show at the Expo Center in Topeka, I paid ,what I thought, was a lot of money to be disappointed. There were a lot of jerky, scentsy candles and jewelry all over the place. Most of all there was a lot
of tables of "I know what I got so don't low ball me" guys. I went around the room twice hoping to find that
"thing" that I thought I needed but did not. I left. I haven't been back in almost 10 years.

It's is kind of like the Century II gun show. You have to go downtown, hassle with the parking and see the same stuff. Hartman Arena isn't too bad but still has some of the wifey stuff and still costs too much to get in.

That was pretty much my last experience but still made the most of it, a good time of social interactions and possibly future connections.

I walked it for about an hour and twenty minutes. Not bad. There were a few surprising deals but nothing I really needed. I didn't buy anything but I didn't sell my rifle either.
I did not see Beanie Babys or jerky, which was very refreshing.

Sounds like it was worth the price, any ammo deals? Say .20 cent 9mm target ammo. I have quite a bit of 9mm target ammo but can’t seem to find any decent priced 380 for target shooting, down to around 1500 rds.
