Here is a link to the Kansas State Rifle Association website. There is a lot of good information there

about firearm safety, getting your concealed carry and classes, laws for concealed carry, KSRA events and

a whole lot of other things. I was a member a few years back and let it expire, but I have signed up again and

found some resources that helped me out, like local ranges I didn't know about. At least you can look at it and

see if it is worth while.

For those looking into it, there's a lot of solid info on Kansas carry laws which is super helpful since they can differ quite a bit from what you might expect in other states. The training class directory is also a useful resource if you're aiming to get your CCW or just want to enhance your skills.

Kansas Senate to Hold Hearing on Suppressor Bill on March 2

On Monday, March 2nd, the Senate Federal and State Affairs committee will hold a hearing on Senate Bill 503, removing suppressors and short-barreled firearms from the controlled weapons list at the state level. This legislation is critical to ensuring that future changes in Federal law do not prevent law-abiding Kansans from possessing and utilizing suppressors to protect their hearing while hunting or exercising their Second Amendment rights.
