Price hikes on ammo?

I buy very little factory rifle or pistol ammo but when I do it’s usually from SG ammo and they’re advertising higher prices because of the tariffs on copper. Has anyone stocked up on on factory fodder? Curious how much that’s going to affect prices. On my coffee tariffs have caused a 38% increase. Ouch.
By the way this isn’t an anti tariff rant. I’ll just have to wait and see what the overall effect is before commenting good or bad.

SG Ammo does have a tendency to hype potential price increases, or use current events to justify price increases.

Heard similar info about ammo prices, then a family member Went to sheels and Talked with one of the managers about ammo prices and he claimed their price is good for all of 2026. They signed a contract not to increase for this year.

He said all of the manufactures are not hurting for supplying shells. He claimed it is transportation problems, no trucks that could impact prices.

It might be more of a manpower shortage. Seems like the truck driver occupation was being taken over by non-English speaking drivers.
