I just found out that some rounds we've been using for years are being phased out. It might be a good idea to start planning ahead or explore some alternatives. Is anyone else already aware of this?

With the cost of components some calibers are almost as cheap to buy factory bulk as to reload, such as 9mm and .223. Same with 12 and 20 gauge shotshells. For rifle/pistol I have so many components that I bought 10-20 years ago that I can still come out ahead by reloading. As far as brands of ammunition that have went away I am not familiar with any but..For shotgun reloading the only two companies making powder that works well is Hodgon and Alliant and there is very little of either available anymore for whatever reason. At full retail it makes reloading 12 and 20 too costly. Wish they’d start producing more Red Dot and Clays.
