Smith & Wesson 63
The S&W Model 63 is the stainless version of the Kit Gun. In carbon steel, it was the Model 34. Built on the popular J-frame and cambered for .22LR, this revolver is small, reliable, and powerful.
This lightweight revolver is small enough to be carried inside a hunter or fisherman’s kit bag, as its name suggests. It is compact enough for comfortable carry and well balanced. It features a stainless-steel frame, barrel, cylinder, HI-VIZ® Fiber Optic Red front sight, and adjustable rear sight.
This one is going to be easier to lay out as a timeline. Most of this was taken from the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson 3rd and 4th editions. Info on the 63-5 mostly came from smithandwessonforums.com
