Tyler T grips

I'm on a classic revolver binge lately and I’ve seen a few older revolvers with grip adapters. For those using Tyler-style adapters, do you think they really improve control, or are they just for that old-school charm? I’d love to see how yours look!

In my experience, they do improve control. Here is a picture of them on a S&W model 65 that I have owned for close to forty years.
