Over gassed short barrels

Do the short barrels from today’s factories still inject more gas into the system than is actually required?

Probably depends on manufacturer. Cheap ones prolly do but the nicer barrels are a lot better.

Will vary by manufacturer, but yeah, many are likely over gassed for normal operation, but do so to give them an extra "umpf" for when things aren't normal
