What’s the dumbest way you’ve ever hurt yourself?

Oh this will be good. I was on a Boy Scout camping trip and I was task to get some firewood. I took
my friends hatchet out to chop some branches and I found a dead tree. I proceeded to hack away at it and
for some reason couldn't cut one of the branches off, so I reared back and took a giant swing and it glanced
off the branch and buried the blade of the hatchet into my shin.
A trip to the hospital for a dozen stitches later, I was back at the camp but no one was there. I wondered around looking for someone but they were all gone. When they all come back (from coon hunting) one of the other boys said they almost shot at me when they saw someone messing around at camp! I still have the scar from the hatchet.
